Juniata Park's own Danny Garcia left Philadelphia for his Las Vegas boxing match against Lucas Matthysse, a heavy underdog. After a unanimous decision, Danny returns to his hometown still the champion.

Danny was on Good Day on Friday to talk about his boxing career. Watch the video as he talks about his fight with Matthysse, rumors of a fight with Floyd Mayweather and Ken Norton's recent passing. Danny also talks about having his dad as a coach.

"It just feels great because the world thought I could not do it. I went out there and proved I'm the best," Garcia told FOX 29.

Garcia then talked about his strategy during the fight.

When he started seeing blood on his opponent, he told Mike Jerrick, he started exploiting that to his advantage.

"I started attacking it. It was his weakness. I just kept going after his eye."

When asked whether he'd take on Floyd, Garcia said it's all up to his management.

"It would be a big payday. It will be a big fight in boxing because my fight was one of the biggest fights people wanted to see, me versus Matthysse, that is what the fans wanted. His fight was a big fight too. It was on the same card. The whole world saw that. That is why people are talking about me, Garcia because of the big event."

About his dad, Garcia said, "I'm always laughing, enjoying it. He is just being himself and I'm being me...I'm the good guy, he is the villain. It is a balance. You have to have it."
