Citizen's Arrest! Grand Rapids purse snatcher held down

A witness records video of a group of people holding down a woman who allegedly stole a purse off an outdoor table in downtown Grand Rapids.

The suspect, now identified as Mikayla Hull, 24, has been charged with larceny from a person and aggravated assault. In the video, you can see Hull bite the wrist of one of the men holding her down, to which he responds by punching her in the head.

Grand Rapids police say they are not pursuing charges against this man after viewing the video, as they say he was acting in self defense. For more information on the incident click here.
