U-M issues crime alert after woman assaulted near campus

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) -

The University of Michigan released a photo Wednesday of a man who they sexually assaulted a woman near campus.

The unidentified woman told police the man approached her on the 300 block of Maynard near E. Liberty and Williams streets early Saturday morning. The woman says the man exposed himself and inappropriately touched her. She says she punched the man and he fled the scene.

The man is described as around 5' 6" with a thin build and medium complexion.
