Video shows 2 men rob Atlanta laundromat

ATLANTA -

Police are searching for two men who robbed a laundromat in southwest Atlanta.

Surveillance cameras show the frightening ordeal at the Wash and Spin store on Campbellton Road.

One suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk thought the gun was a fake and made a run for the door but was grabbed and thrown to the ground and forced back inside.

The men got away with more than $1,000.

The clerk was shaken but not injured.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call 404-577-TIPS(8477).

    A well-known Manhattan housewares store has been ordered to stop selling merchandise associated with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The agency says Fishs Eddy is "unfairly reaping" a benefit from an association with the Port Authority. It singled out dinnerware items decorated with depictions of the twin towers, the new World Trade Center and Lincoln and Holland tunnels, all labeled with the Port Authority's name.
