Falcons help spruce up local park

ATLANTA -

Fresh off their first win of the season, a group of Atlanta Falcons players spent their day off giving back to the community on Tuesday.

Several players, along with volunteers from Park Pride, helped fix up the Ashby Circle play lot in northwest Atlanta.

The team helped repaint playground equipment, cleaned out brush and spread mulch to spruce up the local park.

Guard Justin Blaylock says it's important for kids to have a place to play outside.
