Clyde Frazier Sr. carries on his son's legacy through his Slam Jam Tournament.

Clyde Frazier Jr., who died during the 9/11 attacks, often used his own money to fund the basketball tournament for children in some of NYC's roughest neighborhoods.

Frazier Sr. told his story about losing his son and doing good after his passing.

Real estate mogul Donald Trump saw Frazier's interview during Good Day NY on Wednesday. Trump found the story so touching that he reached out to Good Day NY to make a donation to the Slam Jam Tournament.

"I think you do a lot of good a lot of real good. I saw your interview yesterday and I saw that your are amazing.  This is for the league and for the kids," said Trump as he handed Frazier a check.

“It’s a check for $25,000. I feel a little nervous. I’m talking to a billionaire. He’s a man of the world. He’s a master builder. It’s a dream come true," said Frazier.

"It was a amazing about how you spoke of your son and your other son, James," said Trump.

“He was a good kid. He’d take money from his own pocket,” said James about his brother.

"There’s nothing like having money and you can tell the girls to get ready and have the best teams come up and play.  I really believe my son is doing this."

“I know you’re going to spend this money wisely. It’s an honor to know you," said Trump.
