Kam's Corner: Organizations reach out to help those with disabilities lose weight

Down's Syndrome patient's and people with other disabilities celebrate friendship, better health, and in some cases, major weight loss.

Because of a variety of reasons, many with such special needs suffer from weight gain, and have a hard time losing it. Weight watchers has partnered with an organization called The Arc to help those with disabilities Shed the pounds at a reduced cost.

The cost is only 50 cents for each meeting, and there are still openings for these classes if your son or daughter is interested in enrolling.
