Philadelphia Police are seeking to identify a suspect who robbed a Dollar Tree store in the South Philadelphia section of the city.

Surveillance video released by South Detectives Division on Monday shows a man entering the Dollar Tree Store located on the 2300 block of Oregon Avenue on Aug. 29 at 9 p.m. Upon entering the rear of the store, the suspect forced an employee at gunpoint to open a safe.

Police report that the suspect took an undetermined amount of money. The suspect quickly ran out the back door of the store.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 years-of-age, slim build, 6'0″, goatee, wearing a red Phillies baseball cap, gray hooded sweatshirt with a small Nike symbol on the chest, blue jeans with a possible bird pattern on the back pockets and armed with a handgun.
