Burglar Caught In The Act Inside Pennsauken Home

Posted: Updated:
PENNSAUKEN, N.J. -

Surveillance cameras capture a brazen burglar in action and in broad daylight.

A Pennsauken homeowner's security cameras not only give us a look at how the guy gets in, but also what he does once inside. The guy rummages through the home on Derousse Avenue while going room to room and floor to floor.

You even see him taking stuff, including a laptop.

Police went door to door in the neighborhood last Saturday after it happened to warn neighbors. It's not what Donald Montgomery wanted to hear.

"Definitely not. I'm pretty concerned," said Montgomery who just moved into the neighborhood a week and a half ago.

"It kind of makes me fearful for the stuff in my house and the safety of my family," he said.

Another neighbor says someone broke into her home a few years ago, so she has surveillance cameras, too, and will be on extra lookout after hearing about the guy caught on tape.

"We will turn the alarm on when we go out, lock the doors and make sure we don't have any strangers come in," said Patience Blossfeld.

Police say the burglar also got away with more than $3,000 worth of jewelry. If you recognize him, call Pennsauken police.
