Anthony Weiner Getting In Shouting Match With Voter, Video Shows

Posted: Updated:

A video on YouTube uploaded by user Jacob Kornbluh shows politician Anthony Weiner getting into a heated exchange with a Jewish voter.

In the video, Weiner apparently hears something said to him as he walks out a store. He responds by turning around and saying, "That's courage, you wait 'til I walk out to say something."

He then goes into the store to confront the person.

"You're a bad example for the people," the person says to Anthony during their exchange.

"You're trying to judge me because you honestly think you're superior," Weiner says to him at one point. "Well, you're not."

And then they get into an arguments about norms and morality.

"Your ignorance is being shown to the entire world," Weiner says to the man, knowing that he's being filmed by everyone in the store. Weiner also tells the man that he's delivered more to the community than the man will ever in his entire life.

On Twitter, Anthony Weiner has responded to people. To Ross Barkan, a reporter at The New York Observer, Weiner replies, "[I]f by melt down you mean stood up to a heckler. Yep. Did that. That's what Mayors have to do sometimes."

And in reply to @moneyries, he writes, "[I]n defense of me, the guy waited til I took a bite of honey cake to take a run at me."

Making New York City more energy efficient

More than half the population of New York City rides public transportation to work. No other metropolis in this country even approaches that percentage or the MTA's total number of riders. For that reason, New York likely ranks as the most energy-efficient city in the nation. But what would it take to make the city even more energy-efficient or even self-sufficient?
