Crews Still Pouring Water On Dietz & Watson Fire Scene

DELANCO, N.J. -

Almost 48 hours after a that blaze went to 11 alarms and made a total loss of a cold storage warehouse in Burlington County, firefighters are still pouring water on the smoldering ruins.

SkyFOX flew over the Dietz & Watson facility on Tuesday afternoon and found both firefighters and demolition crews working at the scene.

It took crews nearly 29 hours to put the fire out that began around 2 p.m. Sunday.

More than 200 firefighters from nearly 40 stations helped battle the flames.

There's no word yet on what started the fire.

Dietz & Watson management says the 130 workers there will be transferred to other locations, including a facility in Philadelphia.

"We will come out of this stronger than ever," the company tweeted Monday night. "The fire is now contained. You'll still be able to find the products you love on shelves."

Earlier, the company had thanked followers for their thoughts and prayers, letting everyone know the distribution warehouse employees were safe.

FOX 29 News viewers sent many photos and videos of smoke billowing from the fire over the holiday weekend, along with pictures of ash and other debris falling miles from the scene.
