ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -

A small waterspout came ashore in southern Pinellas County this afternoon, causing some damage at a marina.

It was just after noon when the waterspout passed through Maximo Marina, which is just along I-275 at the very southern tip of Pinellas County.

There were no reports of injuries, but the waterspout damaged some boat sheds. A few of the boats underneath appeared to have suffered damage as well, but it was not clear how badly.

Witness Robert Neff told FOX 13 that all of the marina's power lines appeared to be intact.

A second rainstorm swept through a few hours later, complicating cleanup efforts.
