The Talker: Boutique under fire for drug jerseys

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A popular Los Angeles boutique is getting blasted for a new line of jersey.

The shirts are being sold by Kitson LA and have the names of the prescription drugs Xanax, Adderall and Vicodin written on the back.

The store claims the jerseys are actually making fun of the pop culture which uses drugs for everything.

The makers of Adderall and Xanax are also planning a lawsuit.

Actress Kristen Johnson doesn't find the shirts very funny. The former "3rd Rock from the Sun" star spoke out about it on Twitter.

"Hey Kitson LA do you really think this s*** is funny?' Millions are dying, and you want to make money off it. SHAME ON YOU," she wrote.

Right now Kitson LA has no plans to drop the jerseys despite calls for a boycott.
