GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

Authorities say they've found the body of a missing boater in the Chattahoochee River.  The boater was reported missing after falling out of a boat near Johns Bridge Park, and his body was found around 1:30 p.m.

Gwinnett County's Swift Water Rescue Team started searching for the man just before noon.  They say the boat he was driving hit a submerged log, sending him into the water.  Crews from Johns Creek also assisted in the search.

Authorities say the victim was 69-year-old Thomas Marvin Luckett of Dunwoody.  He was fishing with a friend in a 12-foot boat at the time.  They also say he wasn't wearing a life jacket, and did not know how to swim.
