Video: Fire Extinguisher Turned On Cashier During Theft

PHILADELPHIA -

Police say they're looking to identify three young people who robbed a gas station by spraying a clerk with a fire extinguisher in the cashier's booth.

It happened Tuesday at 12:25 a.m. inside the BP Gas Station located at 2200 West Allegheny Ave. in Tioga, police said.

Surveillance video released by police shows the trio entering with the fire extinguisher and spraying the employee inside the booth. Once it filled with powder, the suspects took items from the shelves from inside the station and fled in an unknown direction.

Here are the suspect descriptions from police:

  1. Black male, 16-20 years-of-age, 5'6"-5'8", wearing a black wool hat, white t-shirt, red shorts, wearing a backpack on his front which contained the fire extinguisher.
  2. Black male, 16-20 years-of-age, 5'9",-5'11", wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
  3. Black female, 16-20 years-of-age, 5'7"-5'9", wearing a black shirt and purple shorts.
