Orange Theory Fitness: Dubrow vs. Edwards

Our guest Co-Host Heather Dubrow put Steve Edwards to the test today challenging him to her daily "heart rate workout" called Orange Theory Fitness. Atfer imputing their ages, weights, and heights into the system, they faced off head to head to see who's working harder during their workout... You have to watch this. You might be surprised how it turned out.

Orange Theory Fitness was founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2010 by exercise physiologist, Ellen Latham, the workout offers group personal training sessions, using the science of Heart Rate-Based Treadmill Interval Training, the efficiency of Indoor Rowing for increased power, and the proven concept of Weight Training Blocks for strength. Orangetheory's certified trainers lead participants through a 60-minute workout, where they perform multiple intervals designed to reach the ORANGE heart rate zone, which is the maximum calorie burning heart rate. Spending 12-20 minutes in the ORANGE zone produces the workout's "after-burn" effect: an increase in metabolism resulting in 200-400 extra calorie burn 24-36 hours afterthe workout!
