WOODBURY, N.J. -

Police in Gloucester County are looking for suspects in a deadly gas station robbery.

The fatal shooting occurred Sunday was along the 900 block of Broad Street in Woodbury.

Officers say someone shot and killed 40 year old Surinder Singh at the Garden State Fuel gas station just after 9 p.m.

"I came outside on my break, and I just heard a big noise. I didn't know if it was fireworks. Somebody said, 'Oh, somebody's just setting off fireworks.' I said, 'That wasn't fireworks, that was gunshots, to me.' Next thing I know I see all the cops pull up, an ambulance, I'm like, 'This is pretty serious.' Then I found out it was one of my customers , the attendant I'd had before from the gas station right next door, I heard that he had gotten shot," said Hannah Hinkson, who works at a nearby diner.

Singh worked at the gas station for 10 years. He is survived by his wife and two children. His family had just come over from India.

Police are looking for two men in a small, silver car.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley has more details in this video report.

Robert De Niro is a family man, a filmmaker, an entrepreneur and one of my favorite actors of all time. He's also a co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has more to see than ever before. De Niro wears just as many hats on screen as he does in real life. The father of six starred in six films last year, owns four restaurants and a hotel, and still finds time each spring for the Tribeca Film Festival, Lower Manhattan's annual cinematic showcase.
