Chasing CUPS!

Posted: Updated:
New Brunswick, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Ronica is chasing down one “hot” cup of frozen yogurt! CUPS Frozen Yogurt locations are popping up across New Jersey and creating quite a stir – not because of the yogurt, but because of their logo, signage and uniform. Some have even referred to the franchise as the “Hooters of Frozen Yogurt.”

Ronica chased this to the CUPS location in New Brunswick. When she spoke with customers, they didn’t seem to be offended. Instead, they thought it was all in good fun.

And CUPS co-founder Rick Barbrick said, “CUPS is a unique, fun and highly energetic environment. Anyone can sell frozen yogurt – we sell the experience.”

So what do you think? Offensive? Fun? Tweet your thoughts to @ChasingRonica.

Recently, Chasing New Jersey uncovered a privacy violation by the NJDEP and Parks Police at Liberty State Park. There, police were putting social security numbers on parking tickets and citations that were being left on vehicles for anyone to see. Well now the ACLU has sent a letter to the NJDEP telling them to stop with this practice because it's against people's constitutional rights. ACLU Legal Director Edward Barocas further discussed the organizations involvement.
