A critic of President Barack Obama tops the Hill's annual list of the 50 wealthiest lawmakers in Congress. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has a fortune of "at least $355 million in 2012," The Hill reports.

"Issa bumped Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, for the top spot on the Capitol Hill newspaper's list this year," USA Today explains. "Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., comes in third on The Hill's list with a minimum net worth of $88.5 million."

In the Capital looked on the list for some of the big names in Congress: "Minority leaders Nancy Pelosi from the House and Mitch McConnell both made this year's list, while such rising stars as Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio did not make the cut. Rubio's net worth was reported to be $190,000 in the red."

Of the wealthiest 50, 29 are Republicans. The House claims 37 on the list, the Senate 13.

The Atlantic Wire took the Hill's list a little further by comparing the wealth of the members of Congress to their constituents back home.

"Take Rep. Darrell Issa of California," the Atlantic Wire reports. "With an average household income of about $68,000 in his Southern California district, that means that Issa alone has the wealth of 5,217 of the households he represents."

Rep. Michael McCaul's wealth is equivalent to 1,754 households in his district in Texas, according to the Atlantic Wire. Sen. Mark Warner's wealth would take 1,184 households of his Virginia district.

The Atlantic Wire says that maybe Issa shouldn't be such a big critic of the president: "Looking at his worth in 2008, Issa has significantly increased his wealth, adding 121 percent to his total valuation. In other words, his wealth more than doubled under Obama."

The top 10 wealthiest members of Congress, according to the Hill, are:

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.: $355.4 million

Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas: $101.9 million

Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va: $88.5 million

Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va.: $83.8 million

Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.: $76.6 million

Rep. John Delaney, D-Md.: $68.4 million

Rep. Jared Polis, D-Colo.: $60.2 million

Rep. Scott Peters, D-Calif.: $44.7 million

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.: $41.6 million

Rep. Jim Renacci, R-Ohio: $35.9 million
