Christie Endorses Lonegan

Posted: Updated:
Flemington, New Jersey (MY9NJ) -

Ronica went to Flemington, NJ to hear Governor Chris Christie’s official endorsement of Steve Lonegan for United States Senate. The event was held in a small room at the Hunterdon County GOP Headquarters and it was hot! When guests left many mumbled about the heat more than the endorsement itself.

When Governor Christie spoke, he noted that this will not be his last event with Steve Lonegan on the campaign trail. He also commented on the future of the race by saying, “Steve is going to give Cory Booker some tussle over the next 60 days.”

New Jersey Transit bus commuters have consistently been complaining about late buses, and only recently NJT has really begun working to fix the problem. NJT has been using new data that shows that buses only show up on-schedule 68% of the time. In June, the transit system said that buses were on-schedule 86% of the time, but their previous method for measurement wasn't quite up-to-par.
