The family's feelings can be summed up in four words: "Please give her back." That's what a handwritten sign says in the area where the puppy (named Lola) was stolen. It happened Thursday and the dog is still missing. Family members say someone in a red van was involved with the theft.

"The lady did something with her hands and the dog stated to walk up," said Sharell Brown. "When the dog got close enough you can see her grab her and put her in the car."

The dog napping took place in broad daylight and was caught on camera. The pit bull mix had broken free from a collar in the backyard. They're asking the people seen on camera stealing the dog to bring her back.

If you have any information, call the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
