Life of 'Wizard of Oz' munchkin remembered at service

As one of the last "Wizard of Oz" munchkin's was laid to rest in the valley Sunday afternoon.

Friends and family of Margaret Pellegrini celebrated her life Sunday at the Everett Luther Life Center at 16th Avenue and Glendale.

Long-time valley entertainers Igor Glenn and Mike Chamberlin and the Valley Youth Theatre paid a special tribute to the actress at her service.

Pellegrini died earlier in August at the age of 89 after complications from a stroke back in 2012.

There are only two remaining munchkins from the 1939 classic film.
