New Jersey Tent Cities Folo

Posted: Updated:
Camden, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Meg continues to chase the ongoing issues surrounding tent cities in New Jersey.  She's already visited Lakewood and Camden and plans to head out to Newark this week.  Since covering the story in Camden a lot of viewers have reached out and expressed their concern for these "third world" conditions that people are living in right here in our backyard.  The Drudge Report even picked up Chasing New Jersey's story on Camden's tent city giving this unfortunate lifestyle national exposure.   Currently, Camden is rated number one in poverty and crime and the city needs help.

In the studio, the Chasers discuss how this situation of homelessness has become political.  They hope that bringing this story to the forefront will help give a voice to those people who could not advocate for themselves. The Chasers encourage both politicians and the community to help the people living in these conditions throughout the state.
