Buono & Silva In Studio

Posted: Updated:
Trenton, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

Barbara Buono and Milly Silva visit the Chasing New Jersey Studio to talk about their upcoming campaign and what it takes to run against Governor Christie who they claim is a "bully". Buono discusses her choice of Silva as Lieutenant Governor and they get into specifics about what their hopes are for New Jersey.  Among topics discussed is job creation.  NJ still has 400,000 people out of work, and the highest employment in the region.  She hopes to increase minimum wage because New Jersey is one of the highest cost of living states in the nation.

The interview turns to Milly and her voting record where she confirms that she has indeed not placed a ballot in a few of the last elections including when Christie was voted into office.

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton made her one and only book stop in Ridgewood, New Jersey promoting her memoir, Hard Choices, which details her life as Secretary of State. This one stop ironically was on the same day that Governor Chris Christie was out of town in Iowa on several fundraising stops. Was his absence a coincidence?

Every day, those who live and work in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn drive and bike and walk across their canal, growing a little more accustomed to but no less disgusted by its scent and appearance. Once the busiest canal in the United States, the Gowanus now bears the distinction as perhaps the most polluted body of water in the nation. No one knows exactly how polluted because few have summoned enough courage to dive into its murky depths to investigate.
