Scott Barnes: Face to Face

Posted: Updated:

Julie's always exciting and fresh sense of style and keeps her chameleon look ever changing. Today, Celebrity Makeup artist Scott Barnes was presented a challenge when we asked him to transform her into someone we might not recognize.

Scott's recent book, Face to Face features some of Hollywood's biggest names, all transformed with Scott's magic hands and techniques. Inside you'll find Vanessa Williams like you've never seen her before, and his recent work with Ke$ha has raised eyebrows as she's looking more feminine and gorgeous than ever. We pulled Scott away from "The Voice" today where he's working on Christina Aguilera to give you a look at how makeup and the proper technique can give you a completely new look.

His rise to fame and a household name comes from his work with Sheryl Crow for her "Soak up the Sun" music video, and  Jennifer Lopez in the early 2000's when he personally created Body Bling for her in his New York apartment. They worked together on many of her major projects and she became known for for signature glow that Scott had created.Scott Barnes will be teaching his techniques for aspiring make up artists on August 10th, Spaces are limited:

SCOTT BARNES CONCEAL & CONTOUR CLASS
SATURDAY, AUGUST 10, 2013

There will be two classes, 10AM & 2PM. The ticket price is $500 per student.
The class consists of a small group, so everyone gets face time with Scott and he can teach you face to face taking you step by step through his personal contouring technique.
You will get plenty of time to ask all the questions you want, as well as take pictures at the end, buy books or bling, and talk with Scott. The class is always a tremendous amount of fun and everyone has a blast!

The things you will need to bring:
A. Yourself.
B. A smile.
C. The makeup you use daily to put on your face. (you may also buy extra product if you show up early)
D. A Model If you want.

Usually half of the class wants to do their own makeup and the other half  brings a model to work on. This choice is completely up to you! In order to reserve your spot, I will need your payment information, and your choice of either the 10AM or 2PM class. The class goes for about 4-5 hours. Please don't hesitate to sign up as the classes fill up quickly! The class will be in Hollywood, at the studio. Frank's Crown Collection hairpieces featured are from LOX Entensions.
