HollyRod Foundation Brings Awareness To Autism, Parkinson's

Posted: Updated:

This weekend I had the honor of attending the 15th Annual DesignCare! Hosted by Holly Robinson Peete and The Peete Family.

It is such a glamorous evening of fashion and music with the money raised going to  the HollyRod Foundation. After the cocktail reception and silent/live auction there was a fashion show from Rubin Singer.

As if that wasn't enough Grammy Award winning R&B recording artist Ne-Yo performed for the crowd.

Lots of celebrity guests including Regina King, Garcelle Beauvais, Leah Remini, Magic Johnson, Cedric The Entertainer, Vivica A. Fox, LeVar Burton, Amy Yasbeck, Nancy O'Dell, Laila Ali, Lisa Leslie, Alan Thicke, Eva LaRue, Shaun Robinson, Mark Curry,Yvette Nicole BrownBoris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker just to name a few.

The HollyRod Foundation was founded in 1997 by NFL quarterback Rodney Peete and actress Holly Robinson Peete.

The foundation is dedicated to providing help and hope to those living with autism and Parkinson's disease. Efforts of the HollyRod Foundation are providing a better quality of life through support and resources for individuals and their families.  For more information please visit www.HollyRod.org.  You can find them on Twitter at @HollyRod4Kids and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HollyRodFoundation
