Exclusive: Man Shot 24 Times

Posted: Updated:
Belleville, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

In this exclusive Chaser Kate looks into the Police Brutality story involving a man who was shot 24 times by cops in Belleville, New Jersey.  After visiting the memorial service and viewing, Kate had a whole new perspective on what went down.  The service was covered with signs reading "Police Brutality" and people protesting the use of excessive force.  She had the chance to talk exclusively to the man's widow about what this incident is doing to her family and the community.

Clearly, there are 2 sides to this story and the Chasers battle it out in the studio.  Some back the police and say that this man was drunk, and threatening them with a knife.  Others don't understand why a man was shot 24 times at all.
