Human Resources Manager
1 Recruits new employees, as necessary, in collaboration with Branch management and Department managers
2 Plans and conducts new employee orientations (e.g., employment and benefits orientations).
3 Addresses and resolves employee issues such as grievances, complaints and questions, and supports Department managers in dealing with employee performance issues
4 Operates time and attendance software, payroll software; maintains time, compensation, benefits, workers' compensation, disability (FMLA) and OSHA records and files.
5 Communicates with health insurance providers to resolve employee issues related to usage and claims.
6 Maintains all personnel and payroll data/files. Keeps employee records, including benefits participation, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and termination, and employee statistics for government reporting.
7 Responds to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and programs.
8 Administrates liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance by communicating with brokers and TWF HQ Risk Management Department.
Prior Experience: 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
Education or Training: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations: Certificates/coursework in HR Management
