Top-notch talent to rock Atlanta's Idol audition

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

FOX favorite American Idol is already ramping up for an incredible Season 13 next January. And, auditions for the next Idol are already well underway across the U.S.

That includes this Friday's auditions right here in Atlanta.

Hundreds of hopefuls lined up a entire day early outside of the Arena at Gwinnett Center for a prime spot at their chance at stardom. But, will the vocals soar or will they be shown the door?

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken worked a little crowd control while getting to know this season's crop of top-notch talent!

    Prosecutors considered him their key witness, a longtime Gwinnett developer given immunity to spill what he knew about corruption inside county government. David Jenkins testified before a Gwinnett grand jury in 2010. He also met multiple times with prosecutors. Those interviews were videotaped. Four years later, prosecutors agreed to a no contest plea bargain with former commissioner Kevin Kenerly on one count of bribery. He will serve 10 years on probation and pay a $10,000 fine.
