More rain, storms popping up around Atlanta area

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Most of Sunday was clear in many spots around metro Atlanta, but things are changing.  Storms began popping up around 5 p.m., and FOX 5 Storm Team meteorologist Steve Milone is tracking them as they move through north Georgia.

Milone says there's potential for lightning, heavy downpours and occasionally gusty winds with these storms. Several severe thunderstorm warnings were issued, as well as a flash flood Warning that is in effect for south central Cobb, eastern Douglas and central Fulton counties until 1 am Monday.

More storms are in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday, but things look a little drier for the rest of the week, Feldman said.

Step through the doors of Hope's Land of Candy in Island Park, Long Island and you''ll be taking a trip back in time. There's no WIFI but they do have a Victrola piano. And then there's the candy.. lots and lots of it.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
