President Of AbingtonYouth Athletic Program Charged With Theft

Authorities in Montgomery County have announced that Michael Hrouda has been charged with the theft of $39,000 from the Ardsley North Hills Athletic Association and Abington Bulldogs Youth Wrestling Club. 

Hrouda served as the President and Treasurer of the Abington Bulldogs from 2008 to 2012. 

During that period, authorities allege that Hrouda withdrew cash for his own use to the tune of $14,000.

Hrouda also served as treasurer of the Ardsley North Hills Athletic Association between June of 2010 and July of 2012.  During his time there, the defendant allegedly made cash withdrawals from the Association's account totaling over $26,000.

Hrouda is charged with multiple counts of Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Forgery, Access Device Fraud and related charges.

Preliminary Hearing will be held July 30. Bail was set today at $10,000.
