"McBudget" For Employees At The Golden Arches?

Posted: Updated:

Fast food giant McDonalds seems to be well aware that it's employees can't survive on minimum wage.

To help, they've come up with a budget plan!

The plan was created by Practical Money Skills for Life, which is McDonalds' financial planning site.

At the top the number one solution is to get a second job.

The budget sets aside $600 dollars for rent and $20 dollars for health insurance.

Critics have responded to the budget with a parody, saying things like "get a second job, um thanks," and "$600 dollars will get me like nine days in a New York apartment."

It adds all the budget expenses left out like food, gas, child care and clothing.

The site does have a disclaimer saying that the restaurant does not endorse this budget plan.
