MGM 'Red Sauce' Goes Italian

Posted: Updated:

MGM's Breeze Dining Court, home to Red Sauce fast dining outlet, will now feature  Italian cuisine starting at $4.

Red Sauce previously served Mexican cuisine, but regular diners expressed interest in a change of taste. Their strong desire prompted the restaurant to make the switch.

"Our guests were the impetus for us to transition Red Sauce into an Italian outlet. People just love their Italian food and this is a way to get it to them fresh and fast," said MGM Grand Detroit's Executive Chef Michael Urbin. "Our intent when creating the menu was to include authentic and beloved dishes that can be found in any Italian grandmothers kitchen."

Red Sauce's new menu offers a variety of options.

Guests may begin with Italian Toscana or Minestrone Soup and a choice of three salads: Classic Caesar, Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato, and Antipasto.

Next, Red Sauce chefs will prepare you a popular plate of your choice, including but not limited to homemade pizzas, sandwiches, and lasagna.

If you have room left for Tiramisu or a cannoli, you'll be sure to walk out with a smile.

Red Sauce also caters to guests on the go. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.
