Adrienne Salinas missing for 1 month; search continues

Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -

July 15 marks one month since Adrienne Salinas seemingly vanished into thin air.

The 19-year-old student from Tempe hasn't been heard from since her car became stranded after she'd been to a party.

The Gateway Community College student was last seen near Brown and Roosevelt Streets around 5 a.m. on a Saturday morning in June.  She was supposed to go over to her boyfriend's house, but never made it.

Her father found her car a few blocks from where she was last seen. The car had some front-end damage and two flat tires.

Police believe Salinas was involved in an accident.  The doors were locked, the overnight bag she packed was gone and there were no signs of a struggle.

According to phone records, Adrienne had called for a cab.  The driver headed to pick her up at an AM/PM convenience store, but she never showed up.

Since then, people have been canvassing the neighborhood looking for clues, but none so far.  Police even searched the bottom of Tempe Town Lake.

Authorities say they don't have reason to believe her body is in the water, but they searched it with sonar to make sure.

Her family is trying to keep her face before the public, hoping someone knows something.

If you have any information about this case, call Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS.
