Lego KidsFest covers stadium in colorful bricks

GLENDALE, Ariz. -

The University of Phoenix Stadium floor is covered in hundreds of thousands of Legos. It's all part of the Lego KidsFest, which runs through Sunday.

There's three acres of Legos.

The University of Phoenix Stadium has been taken over by the small, colorful bricks.

It's all part of a three day expo called Lego KidsFest.

"It's really fun. I wish I could be here, like, everyday," said Lucy Bach.

At the Lego KidsFest, which runs through Sunday, kids and parents can get tips from Master Lego Builders or build their own creations.

"I really want to make a Lego statute one day and just put it up in my room," said Zach Smith.

Those at KidsFest say Legos are one of those multi-generational toys that never seem to go out of style.

Tickets are needed to attend the event Sunday. Visit legokidsfest.com to purchase tickets.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
