Missing 83-year-old Snellville woman sought

SNELLVILLE, Ga. -

Authorities in Snellville are searching for a missing 83-year-old woman.

Emma Chestnut was last seen at 78 Cindy Lane  around 2 a.m. Thursday, police said. She was wearing a blue dress with flowers on it and gold slip-on shoes, authorities said.

Ms. Chestnut walks with a cane and takes medication for blood pressure and cholesterol. Her family says that she has Alzheimer's disease and could get confused.

She drives a maroon 1991 Dodge Spirit with Georgia tag "PFF6391".

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Snellville Police Department at 770-985-3555.
