Flood Watch remains in effect for parts of north Ga.

ATLANTA -

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the entire metro Atlanta area until Thursday evening.

FOX 5 Storm Team Chief Meteorologist Ken Cook some spots near Putnam County received two to three inches of rain throughout the day.

That said, a cold front moving out of Tennessee is moving toward Georgia, which could lead to some clear skies and maybe even some sunshine on Friday.

The clouds will return on the weekend, including possibly some rain.
