NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The 13th annual Aquaphor New York City Triathlon is set for Sunday, July 14.

The Olympic distance race consists of a 1,500m (.9321 miles) swim, a 40K (24.85 miles) bike and a 10k (6.2 miles) run.

The professional triathletes kick off the event that is expected to draw thousands of participants and spectators with the swim portion along the Hudson River off West 99th Street and Riverside Park at 5:50 a.m. and exiting at West 81st Street.

The triathlon ends inside Central Park with one lap of the park's 5 Mile Upper Loop which is located just off the 72nd Street Transverse.

FOX 5  will air a highlight show on Sunday, July 28 at 2:30 p.m.
