Detroit Tigers: #BackBenoit for All-Star team

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

This year, six Detroit Tigers are on the All-Star team, and relief pitcher Joaquin Benoit has the chance to be lucky number seven. All he needs is your help voting.

You can vote as many times as you'd like. Fans have until 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 to vote.

Tigers fans who vote for Benoit at least 100 times on the web site are eligible to be entered into a random drawing to win a meet and greet with Benoit on the field prior to a game at Comerica Park. The prize includes two infield box seats and parking.

In addition, fans who #BackBenoit and follow the Tigers on Twitter (@tigers) and Instagram (@tigers) will have the opportunity to win special prizes including game tickets, autographed memorabilia, and unique game experiences.

Benoit is 2-0 with a 1.78 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 34 appearances, including six saves for the Tigers this season.
