PHOENIX -

A convicted meth trafficker was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday.

40-year-old Indalecio Castro-Ponce was found guilty of one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and two counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on April 12.

The San Luis, Ariz. man received 240 months ad a $3,000 for his crimes.

Evidence during his trial showed that Castro-Ponce conspired with others, such as his wife and teenage son, to traffic meth more than 20 times to various locations in the Southwest.

Authorities seized more than three pounds of 96 percent pure "ice" meth in Fresno, Calif. and more than seven pounds of meth in Moreno Valley, Calif. They also found more than $200,000 cash.
