Last month, a Seattle woman found her car in a ransacked state. Apparently someone had broken into her car and went through it's contents. The odd thing about this incident was that Eliza Webb, the owner of that car, found a stranger's cell phone among her items.
What she did next has people talking.
She did not call police. She did not report the crime.
Instead, Eliza Webb contacted the owner of the phone, a teen, and that teen's mother.
Eliza would end up meeting with the pair and took the 19-year old, and a friend, door-to-door, apologizing for a string of auto break-ins he admitted to.
Eliza Webb works with high school students and believes that this was the better way to deal with the situation.
