Rolling Meadows boy recovering after severe burn injuries

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

An 8-year-old Rolling Meadows boy is back home Thursday morning after 12 weeks of rehabilitation therapy needed for severe burn injuries.

In April, Adorian Fentry sat on a coffee table, knocking over a candle that lit his clothes on fire. The boy suffered second and third degree burns on 35 percent of his body.

On Wednesday, Adorian was released from La Rabida children's hospital, but he left quite an impression.

He still has a long way to go when it comes to physical therapy, but his mother, Tiffany Fentry, is happy to have her son back home.
