CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are still searching for an elderly man who went missing from his Jefferson Park neighborhood home on the Northwest Side last Wednesday afternoon.

William Klosinski, 80, was last seen about 3 p.m. June 26 at his home in the 5500 block of North Mason Street, Area North detectives said in an alert.

He suffers from Alzheimer's disease, but is otherwise in good health, the alert said. He may not know his home address, but should know his name.

Klosinski was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, faded blue jeans and white Nike gym shoes, the alert said. He is described as a 5-foot-8, 148-pound white man with brown eyes, gray hair and a fair complexion.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call detectives at (312) 744-8200.
