Quinn to sign school safety law

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Governor Pat Quinn will be at an Oak Park school Monday to sign a new law, helping schools and police be ready for the unimaginable, a shooting inside a school.

The governor proposed the legislation in his 2013 state of the state address following the tragic shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, to make sure Illinois students are as safe as possible.
