EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (AP) - A Long Island mother and her 17-year-old boy are accused of selling marijuana from their Long Island home.

Nassau County police say four other people were charged with purchasing the illegal drug.

Felicita Villegas and her son, Kelvin, allegedly sold the marijuana from their East Meadow home on Saturday.

They were charged with criminal sale of marijuana. Felicita Villegas was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She was ordered held on $5,000 cash bail or $10 bond at her arraignment Sunday. Her son was ordered released to probation.

Information about their lawyer wasn't immediately available.

Newsday reports that a 15-year-old boy who was not identified also was taken into custody. He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
