Bandits Target Center City Diner

Posted: Updated:

Philadelphia Police are looking for bandits who targeted a diner with a terrifying robbery attempt in Center City this morning.

It happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the Midtown Diner at 122 S.11th Street.

Officers responded to a radio call of a robbery in progress at the diner. Workers told officers that 2 men came in, one with a mask over his head who had a long object inside a plastic bag, simulating a weapon.

The worker said he didn't have any money and the would-be robbers took off empty-handed. No employees or customers were hurt.
