ATLANTA (AP) - Visitors to Atlanta's zoo will soon be able to cool off with a new water feature.

Zoo Atlanta plans to debut its Splash Fountain attraction on July 4.

It will feature a total of 18 water jets on interactive pads in a 2,500-square-foot section of the zoo's KIDZone area, which is already home to other rides and attractions for young zoo visitors.

The Splash Fountain will be open daily from April to October, weather to permitting. Access is free with general admission.
