Arrest made in Valero convenience store shooting

MESA, Ariz. -

Mesa police have arrested a man they say is responsible for two murders – one of them the murder of a Valero clerk weeks ago.

21-year-old Keishaun Marcellous Green is in jail on charges of first degree murder.

Saturday, police responded to a shooting at a house in Mesa -- they believe it was a drug deal.

The victim, who later died at the hospital, was able to give a description of the man who shot him.

After finding Green, officers questioned him. They say they've gathered evidence to show he also shot Ibrahin Robles, a Valero clerk who was shot and killed May 31st.

Now, his son says his family has closure knowing that someone has been arrested for his dad's murder.

"It's obviously not going to bring my dad back, but it definitely makes me happier and it's kind of a weight lifted off my shoulders. I can finally sleep good tonight," says Ibrahin Robles Jr, the victim's son.

Police say a 15-year-old boy was also arrested in connection with the shooting on Saturday -- but don't believe he had anything to do with the Valero clerk homicide.
