CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Even a fire hydrant is feeling the Blackhawks spirit, especially after Chicago's midnight victory over the Boston Bruins at the United Center in triple overtime.

FOX 32 News viewer Karen Karges sent in photos of a very festive Villa Park fire hydrant.

The village of Villa Park has a special program where residents can "adopt" hydrants. The benefits help the Villa Park Fire Department buy new equipment as they need to be replaced.

Karen's family "adopted" the fire hydrant on their block, and her daughter Michelle painted it as Tommy Hawk.

Michelle is a junior at Iowa State University, where she's working toward a degree in graphic design. Karen said her daughter loves to paint and decorate.

That's a unique way to show Hawks pride!
