Comeback Down The Shore: Long Beach Island!

Posted: Updated:

For this edition of Comeback Down The Shore, Fox 29's Jenn Frederick heads to beautiful Long Beach Island.

She visited Meltdown for an ice cream breakfast, the Sandbox Cafe for deep dish pancakes.

She then paid a visit to the children at Long Beach Island Grade School for their Bay Day.

This school is still shutdown from storm so it will operate out of nearby elementary school called Ethel A Jacobsen Elementary School.   This is the school whose students met with President Obama and the First Lady last week!

The message:  Get back down the shore and visit Long Beach Island!

When you hear about a place that still sells records, located in a hip neighborhood in the borough of Brooklyn, you enter that store with certain expectations. One of them being: you hope the guy behind the counter talks about music the way Cory Fierman does."I think it's just like the most important thing to you," he says. "I don't know how to describe it.
